AT A GLANCE

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary, with professional experience collaborating between teams, generating data driven reports, and interpreting policy to turn it into effective actions.

I am currently employed with Prep Academy and A-Star Learning as a contract tutor where I have worked with students ranging from grades 2-12 covering a wide range of subjects. I provide personalized and diversified learning experiences both to help students understand concepts they are struggling with and to get ahead academically.

Myself and my Pedagogy

I consider myself an amateur writer and artist, someone who loves to spend time outdoors, and a lifelong learner! I am happiest in a room full of people from all walks of life, sharing perspectives, and engaging in thoughtful discussion. I also have a love of travel! I’ve visited England, Italy, Greece, New Zealand, and look forward to many more adventures in the future that I can bring to my classroom.

My teaching philosophy starts with the student at the center; that their wellbeing, boundaries, and potential is the focus and the priority. Surrounding that central focus of the student is the acknowledgement that learning is a lifelong process and is one that uplifts not only the learner, but those around them.
