Over the last year and a half since beginning my degree I have participated in over 20 hours of professional development and have put in over 200 hours volunteering in grade 1, 2, 4, and 6, classrooms which has allowed me to collaborate with other teacher to build my personal capacity and expertise. I have included an excerpt from a letter I received from 4 teachers at my Field II placement school confirming my volunteer experience and tasks which served to build my capacity to support student success and to seek out feedback from these teachers to enhance my teaching practice. I also included an excerpt from my Field III Partner Teacher assessment which outlines how I was able to attend professional development days to continue to build my professional network and capacities.
